The Problem With a Truly Low-Fat Breakfast

This tweet from Dr. David Ludwig sure did not make me very nostalgic about the breakfast choices in the 90’s, when the fat-phobic guidelines were at their peak, and the obesity epidemic really got going:

BREAKFAST 1995:
English muffin
Jelly
Fat-free cream cheese
Cereal
Skim milk
Juice
Egg whites
