This time of year there’s a lot of inspiration for after school snacks and for items to put in the children’s lunch boxes. Unfortunately, often the suggested recipes are full of sugar and low in nutrients.
Even the ones that sound really healthy, like granola bars, usually contain tons of sugar. That’s not what kids need to grow, learn, play and sleep well. They need food, real food.
